Bria Cheri is a gifted singer-songwriter, musician, dancer and aspiring actress. Born and raised on the Southside of Jamaica Queens, NY her love for music began at the age of three when her mother introduced her to piano. Bria is constantly perfecting her craft and pursuing her passion of being a professional recording artist. Through Bria’s commitment to making music, she caught the attention of Donnie Klang who is a singer, songwriter, and producer. He was formerly signed to Bad Boy Records after winning Sean “Diddy” Combs’ TV reality show, “Making the Band 4.”
Bria writes her own songs. Her first Album titled "Before the Music, produced by Donnie Klang, was an introduction to who she is as an artist. Her writing consists of storytelling and leaving messages in the music. Her influences range from Aaliyah to Chaka Khan. Drawing from those influences, Bria is able to tap into her emotions and bring forth music that people can relate to. Her music spans multiple genres, including Hip Hop, Soul, Neo Soul, House music and more.
As of April 2023, Bria Cheri’s musical journey enabled her the honor of meeting and opening for the legendary Styles P from the Hip-Hop group, The Lox, at Bullet Proof Studios in New Jersey.
